Oct. 1, 2018 – Hubertus, WI – St. Mary of the Hill Parish announces the opening of its Preborn Memorial Garden located in its cemetery located on the corner of Hwy 167 and Hwy CC in beautiful Hubertus, Wisconsin.
The Preborn Memorial Garden provides sacred burial sites for babies who have died due to a miscarriage or stillbirth. “Sadly, miscarriage occurs very often. Offering a place to bury the precious baby is important to families facing this loss,” said Wendy Newburg, Pastoral Associate of St. Mary of the Hill Parish.
The parish will also provide various services to aid in hope and healing, such as the pick-up of the babies’ remains at home or at a hospital by Berndt and Ledesma Funeral Home.
St. Mary of the Hill is also partnering with Life’s Connection, a medical pregnancy support center to provide support during this time of grief. Each of these services are at no cost to the family.

The celebration will begin with a procession by the Knights of Columbus followed by a dedication blessing by Father Bonaventure Lussier. If Archbishop Listecki’s schedule permits, he plans on being at the dedication.  Everyone is welcome.
