Teens involved in accident in neighboring Dodge Co.

On Saturday, March 12 at 2:46 a.m., the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office responded to a motor vehicle crash on US 151 south of STH 49, in the Township of Chester, Dodge County, Wisconsin.

 
Preliminary investigation shows that Thomas Moore, 35, from Clarkton, Missouri was operating a Pontiac Grand Prix traveling south on US 151. Eric Anderson, 34, from rural Waupun was operating a 2001 Volvo south on US 151 and was approaching the rear of the Pontiac.

 

The front of the Volvo struck the rear of the Pontiac, causing the Pontiac to go into the median and overturn.

 
Passengers in the Pontiac were: Chastity Moore 34, a 14-year-old boy and a 13-year-old girl all from Clarkton, Missouri. The teens and Thomas Moore were transported to Waupun Hospital – all received minor injuries and were treated and released.

 

Chastity Moore was transported to Waupun Hospital (with non-life threatening injuries) but later transferred to UW Hospital in Madison.

 
Anderson was transported to Waupun Hospital for treatment of his injuries and he was later booked into the Dodge County Jail on a charge of Injury by Intoxicated Use of a Vehicle.

 
Assisting at the scene was: Waupun Police, Waupun Fire Department, Lifestar EMS.

 
The crash remains under investigation by the Dodge County Crash Investigation Team.
