Tree uproots, falls over during Fourth of July festivities at Regner Park

July 4, 2019 – West Bend, WI – There was a bit of a scare today, July 4, as a large tree became uprooted and fell without warning at Regner park at approximately 11:15 a.m., missing a lifeguard lookout and touching the water in the pond where families were swimming. Festivities in the park were in full swing for the Duck Derby as well as other post-parade events. No injuries were reported from this incident.
