Two primary elections in Washington County on February 15, 2022

Washington Co., WI – Neighbors in Germantown, Jackson, and Hartford will want to pay attention as there are two primary elections coming up in your communities on Tuesday, February 15, 2022.

The top vote getters will advance to the April 5, 2022 Spring Election. Polls will open at 7 a.m. – 8 p.m.

Hartford Union High School

In the Hartford Union High School District there are six candidates running for two seats. Each seat carries a 3-year term. A primary will be held Tuesday, February 15, 2022 to trim the field to four candidates. The ballot order is as follows.

Craig Westfall (i)

Heather Barrie

Nolan Jackett

Jonathan Lobert

Tina Pridemore (i)

Don Pridemore

There will be a community forum on February 8, 2022 at 6 p.m. for Hartford Union High School board candidates. The event is open to the public and will be held in the high school drama lecture hall.

Germantown School District

In the Germantown School District there are three seats up for election on April 5, 2022. Each seat carries a 3-year term.

There is a 3-way race for Seat No. 2 and there will be a primary on February 15, 2022.

Russell Ewert
Ray Borden
The top 2 vote getters on Feb. 15, 2022, will advance to the April 5, 2022 election.
Interesting to note, there are 345 voters in the Village of Jackson who are in the Germantown School District.
The primary the Village of Jackson will administer on February 15, 2022 is only for the Germantown School Board race.
