UWM-Washington County volleyball team notches first win against UW-FDL | By Kayla Schommer

Sept. 13, 2018 – Washington Co., WI – The UWM-Washington County Wildcats beat UW-Fond du Lac on Wednesday 25-17, 25-17, 25-20.
The team went into the volleyball game intense and ready to play, not knowing what Fond du Lac was going to bring, since they were our toughest competitor last year.
The Wildcats played very well together in its first conference match with only three returning players on the team. However, there is still room for improvement as we go into our next matches.
This was a great way to start off the season with a win against Fond du Lac.
Team leaders were Breanna Cronin with 11 kills and 8 ace serves, Kayla Schommer had 12 assists for kills and 7 ace serves, Kayla Boehm had 9 kills and Catherine Tucker led the team with 27 digs.
The Wildcats next match is Saturday, Sept. 15 at UW-Marathon County
