VIDEO | Paying it forward at Interfaith Caregivers of Washington County

 

August 19, 2018 – Washington Co., WI – A new Sunday series sponsored by Interfaith Caregivers of Washington County a local organization that connects seniors with caring volunteers.

 

The volunteers and board members at Interfaith Caregivers of Washington County are extremely appreciative of all the people who have helped over the years.

 

Whether it’s driving a senior citizen to the grocery store or a doctors appointment or even doing a little light house keeping.

 

Sarah and Irma have become a great team at Interfaith Caregivers of Washington County

 

Sarah is extremely thankful to her employer as she has flex hours to volunteer at Interfaith Caregivers of Washington County. Through volunteering as a driver she met Irma who is in need of rides to medical appointments and the grocery.

Remember Friday, September 7 is Percolate. A chance to meet new friends, share some coffee and sweets and find out a little bit about what Interfaith Caregivers does for people in the community.

 

 

Come join us at 8 a.m. at 2374A Washington Avenue. (In the strip mall that used to be Pick ‘N Save)

 

Everyone involved in Interfaith Caregivers is doing their part in helping make the life of area senior citizens that much easier.

Giving time to Interfaith Caregivers is a rewarding experience.

Whether it’s getting a group together to clean up an elderly neighbor’s yard or simply folding a fresh load of laundry, your time makes a real difference! In the end, don’t be surprised if you forget who’s helping who.
