VIDEO | Tips on planting and harvesting garlic | By Washington County Master Gardeners

July 30, 2019 – Washington Co., WI – Washington County Master Gardeners Vicki Hopp and Mary Reilly-Kliss take you for a look behind the scenes on planting garlic at the Community Garden in the West Bend.

Reilly-Kliss has 15 different varieties of garlic including four different types from Montana. “Garlic is planted in the fall and usually about 3 inches apart with plenty of mulch,” she said.


“Garlic is the first crop to come up in the Spring,” said Reilly-Kliss.
