WB Noon Kiwanis announces funding grant opportunity for area nonprofits serving children

 

West Bend, WI – Non-profit organizations in the West Bend area that address the needs of children in the community may apply for project funding through the West Bend Noon Kiwanis Club “Signature Project” initiative.

Each June the Club hosts it’s annual  “Steak-In-The-Park” fund-raising event at Regner Park.   One non-profit “partner”  will be selected from  qualified applicants to  receive a grant up to $10,000 from event proceeds.   The recipient must meet the following criteria in order to apply:

  • A 501 (c)(3) organization with a positive history in the community
  • Have a specific project that needs funding to benefit children in the West Bend area
  • Be willing to partner with the West Bend Noon Kiwanis Club to help assure a successful “Steak-In-The-Park” event
