The West Bend Cultural Alliance, the group working to breath new life into the downtown West Bend Theatre, is taking calculated steps towards working to reopen the theatre.
During a Thursday evening meeting at West Bend Tap & Tavern, the WBCA worked to hone in on the next steps of organization and construction.
Gene Eggert from Architectural Designs Inc. agreed to provide a more focused study proposal that, for now, would just encompass the existing theater.
Depending on the initial success, future phases could be considered that would make considerations to the buildings to the south.
Eggert will confirm the costs with a new proposal on a study that will include a building condition report, narrowed and focused scope of facility use and operational plan.
There will also be complete renovation plans and an artist rendering.
