Fireworks/4th of July parades: What’s in store across Washington County

July 1, 2022 – West Bend, WI – The annual 4th of July parade steps off at 9:30 a.m. in downtown West Bend followed by festivities at Regner Park that will include food, kids games, a Duck Derby, and live music.parade

Head over to Riverside Park for music and dancing starting at 7 p.m. and the Horicon Bank Fireworks at 9:45 p.m.

At Riverside Park, 6 p.m. – DJ Music and dancing, West Bend Tumbling Troupe, food and beverages.

Fireworks sponsored by Horicon Bank will begin at dusk.

HARTFORD

July 4 PARADE – Parade starts on North Main Street at Union and proceeds south to Lincoln School.

FIREWORKS: The City of Hartford is moving its July 4 fireworks to Independence Park, 880 S. Wilson Avenue in Hartford. Read more HERE.

JULY 3 FIREWORKS: Do you have your blankets and chairs ready for the July 3 fireworks? You can start placing your blankets on the hill to reserve your spot beginning Friday, July 1 at 6:00 a.m.

GERMANTOWN

PARADE: The 4th of July parade is scheduled to start at 3:00 p.m. The parade will start on Pilgrim Rd. near Sylvan Cir. The parade will travel north on Pilgrim Rd to Fond Du Lac Ave; continue north on Fond Du Lac Ave to Main St; go west on Main St to Park Ave; go north on Park Ave to Freistadt Rd where it will end near Fireman’s Park.
Pilgrim Rd in between Sylvan Cir and Mequon Rd will close to traffic starting at 2:00 p.m. Portions of Montgomery Dr., Sylvan Cir., and Francese Dr. will also be affected. This is for the safety of those participating in the parade.
The remaining portion of the parade route will close to traffic starting at 2:30 p.m.

If the road closure affects you, please be at your destination prior to the closure or plan an alternate route.
The department does not grant permission to place chairs or reserve spaces along the parade route. Items placed off the roadway and/or in grassy areas will be allowed to stay but please be respectful of homeowners. The department will move or remove any items placed in the roadway. We recommend you do not leave items any earlier than 48 hours prior to the parade. Items placed on the parade route will be done at your own risk. The Germantown Police Department is not responsible for any missing/ damaged items and will not take a theft report.
No parking of any type of vehicle or trailer will be permitted at any time on the shoulder, the median, or any road in the parade route.
There will be a food drive for the St. Boniface Food Pantry. Donations will be collected by several parade participants who will be pushing shopping carts.
After the parade, come to Fireman’s Park for food, fun, games, and music. Fireworks will follow in Fireman’s Park at dusk.
The only fireworks allowed in Germantown are sparklers, toy snakes, and fountains that stay on the ground. If it leaves the ground or explodes, it is illegal. However, the only fireworks allowed in Fireman’s Park on July 4th are the professional ones. Leave your fireworks at home.
