Washington Co., Wi – A 69-year-old Hartford man was extricated and flown via Flight for Life to Froedtert Hospital following a single-vehicle rollover crash on Country Trunk Highway K just west of Addison Road.
According to the Washington County Sheriff the driver was westbound on CTH K around 7:25 a.m. Monday, June 9, 2025, and for an unknown reason he crossed over, struck a culvert/embankment which flipped his vehicle, and it rolled a couple times.
The vehicle came to rest on its side. Several passersby stopped to assist. The man had to be extricated and was flown via flight for life to Froedtert Main.
There were no signs of impairment and injuries were not life threatening. D
The driver stated he was unable to sleep, so he decided to go for a drive. He could not recall how long he was driving for, where he was coming from or where he was heading.
The driver stated he is a diabetic and did not check his blood sugar.
