February 18, 2026 – North Fond du Lac, WI – On Monday, February 16, 2026, at approximately 3:51 p.m., the Fond du Lac Dispatch Center received a phone call about a two-vehicle crash involving a sedan and pickup truck on Pioneer Road south of Mockingbird Lane in the village of North Fond du Lac.
After the initial investigation, police learned the sedan was traveling northbound on Pioneer Road and went left of the center line striking the pickup truck which was going southbound on Pioneer Road. Two occupants in the sedan were transported to regional medical facilities and are in stable condition.
A third occupant in the sedan was pronounced deceased at the hospital. The deceased individual is a 14-year-old female from Fond du Lac.
The driver of the pickup truck was transported to the hospital and is in stable condition.
All parties involved are cooperating with the investigation. Impairment is not believed to be a factor in the crash. The investigation is ongoing.
