16 departments battle house fire in Town of Cedarburg | By Ozaukee Co. Sheriff

February 2, 2026 – Cedarburg, Wi – On Saturday, January 31, 2026, at approximately 10:39 p.m., the Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residential structure fire in the 500 block of Beechwood Drive in the Town of Cedarburg.
The Cedarburg Police Department was first on scene and attempted to extinguish the fire but was unsuccessful.

With the assistance of multiple fire departments, the fire was ultimately knocked down and extinguished.

All occupants of the residence were safely evacuated, and no injuries were reported as a result of the incident. The home was a total loss due to the fire.

Preliminary investigation indicates the fire originated in the chimney and does not appear to be suspicious in nature.

The Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Cedarburg Fire Department, Port Washington Fire Department, Ozaukee Central Fire Department, Southern Ozaukee Fire Department, Belgium Fire Department, Waubeka Fire Department, Fredonia Fire Department, Newburg Fire Department, West Bend Fire Department, Jackson Fire Department, Germantown Fire Department, Richfield Fire Department, Menomonee Falls Fire Department, Fillmore Fire Department, Slinger Fire Department, St. Lawrence Fire Department, Cedarburg Police Department, WE Energies, WI State Fire Marshal’s Office, and the Ozaukee County Drone Team.

February 1, 2026 – Cedarburg, Wi – Cedarburg has a structure fire at 522 Beechwood Drive.

Numerous Ozaukee County departments on scene along with tenders from Fillmore and St. Lawrence.
