2 incidents on I41 including vehicle rollover | By Sgt. Anthony Conforti

November 17, 2025 – Town of Addison, Wi – On November 16, 2025, at approximately 2:53 p.m., the Washington County Sheriff’s Office Communications Center received multiple reports of a rollover crash on southbound Interstate 41 near County Trunk DW in the Town of Addison. Deputies from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, along with personnel from the Allenton Fire Department, were dispatched to the scene.
While deputies were en route, dispatch also received reports of a subject in a separate vehicle experiencing a medical emergency. Upon the arrival of the first deputy, an overturned SUV was found in the middle of the southbound lanes.
Additionally, a full-size SUV towing a trailer had become entangled in the median cable barriers. The occupants of the overturned vehicle were assisted out of the vehicle by bystanders and transported to a local hospital with suspected minor injuries.

The driver of the SUV located in the median barrier was found to be experiencing a medical event and was being attended to by family members. Deputies extricated the operator from the vehicle, and the individual was transported to a local hospital for further treatment.

The preliminary investigation determined the SUV towing the trailer began to swerve across both southbound lanes as a result of the driver’s medical emergency.

The trailer then struck the other SUV, causing that vehicle to roll over. Portions of both the northbound and southbound lanes of Interstate 41 were intermittently closed for approximately three hours to allow for vehicle removal and debris cleanup.

Assisting at the scene were the West Bend Fire Department and the Wisconsin State Patrol.
