March 5, 2026 – Fond du Lac Co., Wi – On Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at 3:32 p.m., the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office Communications Center received multiple 911 calls of a single-vehicle crash in front of N3369 USH 45 in the Township of Osceola. Deputies from the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office along with Eden Fire Department and Campbellsport Ambulance were dispatched to the scene.

Upon arrival, deputies and first responders located a male that had been ejected from the vehicle. It was determined he was the driver and lone occupant. Due to the seriousness of his injuries, Flight for Life was requested to the scene. The driver, a 52-year-old Oakfield man, was flown with serious injuries to ThedaCare Regional Medical Center – Neenah.
Evidence at the scene showed the vehicle was northbound on USH 45 and entered the east ditch as it failed to negotiate a curve.
The vehicle struck a driveway embankment causing it to go airborne and overturn before coming to a rest. The driver was arrested for operating while intoxicated – third offense.
The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by the Wisconsin DNR, Wisconsin State Patrol, and a paramedic unit from Fond du Lac Fire Rescue. USH 45 was closed between CTH W and CTH F for approximately 45 minutes.
Speed and alcohol are believed to be factors in the crash, which remains under investigation by the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office.
