August 14, 2025 – Slinger, Wi – It’s the big day that everyone has been patiently waiting for as The Kettle Recreation Center and Jug’s Pub & Grill, 1021 Commerce Blvd, is finally officially open in Slinger, Wi.
“I want to thank the village; it has been excellent to us from the building
inspector to the president to the administrator,” said The Kettle owner Steve Kearns. “Everybody’s been great. It took a long time. We want to thank people for their patience. We had a soft opening a couple nights ago and everything went great. Again I want to thank everybody. I hope they love what they see. I hope it was well worth the wait.”
Customers at the bowling alley love the bright, vibrant colors of the huge screen stretching across the back wall. They also praised the modern atmosphere and said it’s a far cry from what the building used to look like.
The Kettel Recreation Center is a welcoming and fun place to brings kids as there’s plenty to do including arcade games, the claw machines and amazing prizes.
Jug’s Pub & Grill is owner Jason Jug’s second venue, but his reputation at the location on CTH D helped pack the house in Slinger.
The menu is fresh, the servings are plentiful, and the drinks keep coming.
