November 30, 2025 – Washington Co., Wi – Neighbors across Washington County, Wi, tested their shovels and snowblowers for the first time this season as about 4 inches of fresh snow blanketed the area Saturday. The trusty Kennedy Space Center, Florida ruler shows 4 inches of snow in West Bend, WI. How much did you receive?
Plows and salters worked to keep the roads clear. Things got a little dicey around 5 p.m. with heavier accumulation and a slick surface.
Aron Rodman owns Extra Mile Snowplowing and his crew was out Saturday. “We made sure to salt on Friday night and that helped because the snow started slow on Saturday,” Rodman said.
His team went out at 3 p.m. after the initial 3 inches of snow melted to about 1 inch. “There’s about an inch of slush and ice and then about 6 inches of snow in West Bend. We’ll see another 2 to 3 inches by morning. We’ll have guys out until midnight and back at it at 3 a.m.”
Rodman said he wanted to have things cleaned up before Sunday night when temperatures are expected to drop to 7 degrees overnight.
