December 30, 2025 – Ozaukee Co., Wi – On Monday, December 29, 2025 at approximately 3:27 pm, an Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Office Deputy attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling southbound on I43 near Pioneer Road in the Town of Grafton for speeding and failure to display a vehicle registration plate.

The vehicle exited the interstate at Pioneer Road and stopped at a gas station located at the corner of North Port Washington Road and Pioneer Road. Upon stopping, the driver immediately fled on foot from the traffic stop. The front-seat passenger remained at the scene and was detained.
A perimeter was established, and a search for the driver was conducted with assistance from several law enforcement agencies, including the deployment of a drone team and K9 Units.
After an extensive search, the driver was located in a field northwest of the initial traffic stop location.
The driver was identified as 38-year-old Mario Beltran of Milwaukee. Beltran was arrested for Operating a Motor Vehicle While Intoxicated – 1st Offense, Obstructing, and Possession of THC. Beltran also had active arrest warrants from the Brown County Sheriff’s Office and WI Department of Corrections.
The passenger of the vehicle was identified as 29-year-old Tori Henderson of Milwaukee. Henderson was issued a citation for Obstructing after providing a false name to law enforcement.
Assisting agencies included the Grafton Police Department, Cedarburg Police Department, Mequon Police Department, and Ozaukee Central Fire Department.
