Januaary 26, 2026 – West Bend, Wi – On January 25, 2026, at approximately 3:25 a.m., officers responded to the 700 block of South River Road after a 52-year-old man reported that he had stabbed his 45-year-old girlfriend during a domestic dispute.
Officers located the woman suffering from multiple stab wounds. She was transported to a local hospital, where she is expected to survive her injuries.
The man, identified as Kevin A. Fischer, was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail.
He has been charged by the Washington County District Attorney’s Office with 𝗔𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗗𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗪𝗲𝗮𝗽𝗼𝗻/𝗗𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗩𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿.
According to court records, Fischer is being held on $500,000 cash bond. He’s next scheduled to appear before Washington County Judge Ryan Hetzel on April 2, 2026.
