Successful Washington County Breakfast on the Farm as 3,439 were served

Kewaskum, WI – It was a beautiful day for Washington County’s annual Breakfast on the Farm. Host Iron Ridge Dairy, 5385 Sunset Drive in Kewaskum, and the Volm Family, along with volunteers, served 3,439 breakfasts according to organizer Mike Strupp.

Neighbors took advantage of sunshine and warm temps to explore the farm started in 1995 by Merlin and Carol Volm. Terry and Kim later purchased the farm and expanded the herd to 300 milking cows.

Families were lined up to the road as they waited to feast on a traditional farm breakfast of eggs, pancakes, sausage, applesauce and to celebrate June Dairy Month – plenty of cheese curds and chocolate milk. Strawberry or chocolate sundaes for dessert.
