The initial investigation revealed a 63-year-old Brookfield man had parked a vehicle and was walking towards the restaurant when he was struck by a pickup truck driven by an 18-year-old Campbellsport man. The collision occurred in a drive through lane on the property.

The pedestrian received serious, possible life-threatening injuries, and was flown by medical helicopter to Froedert Hospital in Milwaukee. The driver of the pickup truck remained at the scene and was cooperating with the investigation.

The business remained open, though the drive through area was closed to allow for the investigation.
