June 20, 2026 – Town of Addison – On June 19, 2026, at approximately 7:42 PM, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office Communication Center received a 911 call in which the caller reported a two-vehicle rollover accident near the intersection of Addison Rd and CTH K in the town of Addison.

The caller stated the involved vehicles rolled down the steep embankment near the railroad tracks. Several bystanders immediately began to render aid to the injured occupants while sheriff’s deputies and EMS were dispatched to the scene.
The initial investigation revealed an SUV occupied by two adults from West Bend, WI, were northbound on Addison Road approaching CTH K and failed to stop at the stop sign at CTH K. The SUV struck a minivan that was traveling westbound on CTH K. The minivan was occupied by two adults and three children from Mayville WI.
The driver of the SUV needed to be extricated from the vehicle and suffered significant leg injuries.
The passenger of the SUV suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The occupants of the minivan were able to be assisted out of the vehicle by a deputy and bystanders on scene. The occupants of the minivan suffered non-life-threatening injuries. All occupants of the crash were transported by ground ambulance to various hospitals.
The Sheriff’s Office Crash Reconstruction Team responded to investigate the crash. The intersection of CTH K and Addison Rd was closed for several hours to facilitate the crash reconstruction investigation. The crash remains under investigation by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
The Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by the Wisconsin State Patrol, St Lawrence Fire Department, Allenton Rescue, Hartford Rescue, and Lifestar Ambulance.
