Unofficial election results in Washington County, Wi for August 11, 2026 Partisan Primary

August 11, 2026 – Washington Co., WI – Unofficial election results are in for the August 11, 2026 Partisan Primary in Washington County, Wi.

In the 58th Assembly District race Bernie Newman will advance to the November General Election following a strong win.

Newman said early on after announcing his candidacy, “I’m going to win this thing.”

On Tuesday night at his victory party, it was all starting to sink in. “Hard work paid off. Shoe leather over money,” said Newman. “I had so much great help. I couldn’t have done it by myself.”

Unofficial results show Newman winning in every single district. “We really did well in Newburg and Trenton,” said Newman who will advance to face Democrat Dennis D. Degenhardt in November.

Most polling places across Washington County in Slinger, Richfield, Jackson, Kewaskum, Hartford, Germantown, and West Bend all saw a brisk pace throughout the day. The weather had some rain move through this morning, that cleared up before noon and then the forecast was sunny and warm the rest of the day with highs in the 80s.
