Jackson Police arrest man for 5th OWI | By Jackson Police

August 21, 2026 – Jackson, Wi – On August 20, 2026, at approximately 4:45 p.m., officers were notified of a small electric vehicle traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes of Highway 60, creating a traffic hazard.⁣

Officers made contact with the operator, a 48-year-old Jackson man, who admitted to consuming alcohol approximately two hours prior to the incident.

During the investigation, officers determined the man was out on bond in three misdemeanor cases and was subject to a condition requiring absolute sobriety.⁣

Based on the investigation, officers arrested the man for OWI 5th Offense and three counts of Misdemeanor Bail Jumping. Charges have been referred to the Washington County District Attorney’s Office.⁣


𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐟𝐭 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐓𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐧 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐂𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐝𝐲 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐃𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐞, 𝐊𝟗⁣

On August 21, 2026 at approximately 2:28p.m. Jackson officers were dispatched to a theft of medical equipment from a business near Tillie Lake Rd. The suspect took multiple boxes of medical equipment that had been delivered to the business and fled on foot into the marsh west of the roadway. Officers responded to the area and located the male, who fled further into the marsh. Officers set up a perimeter and drone and K9 resources were requested to the scene. ⁣

A K9 track was started. During the track, the drone operator located the suspect and guided the search team to him. The suspect continued to disobey commands and was non-compliant. Hartford PD K9 Flash apprehended the suspect and officers took him into custody. The suspect continued to resist after being taken into custody and was non-cooperative as officers worked to exit the marsh. ⁣

The suspect, identified as a 21-year-old Milwaukee man, was transported to the Washington County Jail on charges of Misdemeanor Theft and 2 counts of Obstructing/Resisting an Officer.⁣
