August 29, 2026 – Washington Co., WI – On August 29, 2026, at approximately 2:30 a.m., the Washington County Communications
Center received a 911 call of a motorcycle crash in the area of Highway 175 and Highway 164 in the Town of Polk.

Deputies from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office along with the Slinger Police Department and Wisconsin State Patrol responded to the scene and located a female patient and a male patient. Lifestar Rescue and the Slinger Fire Department also responded.
Lifesaving efforts were performed on scene but both patients died on scene. The victims were identified as a 29 year old Town of Polk woman and a 51 year old Town of Jackson man.
The roadway was closed for approximately five hours while the Washington County Crash Reconstruction Unit and the Washington County Medical Examiner’s Office investigated the scene. The crash remains under investigation by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
