Allenton, Wi – The Allenton American Legion Fast Pitch Team is becoming a reality. We are still looking for a few players for this summer league.
Recently organized the Blue Hawks girls’ fast-pitch team is still looking for a few players for its summer league and a few more sponsors to help keep the program affordable for those who wish to participate. This is not a tournament team.
This will be a team of young ladies; graduates of 8th grade all the way to graduating high school seniors, that love to play fast pitch, make friends, and enjoy the sport.
The Wisconsin Department of American Legion is the 10th state to form an American Legion Softball program.
Regional and State Tournaments will be held with two divisions of play. Students enrolled in 8th grade-12th grade during the 2025-2026 school year are eligible to play in the 2026 season.
Athletes are eligible for the $1,000 Department Scholarship as well as the Schneider-Emanuel Scholarship if additional criteria are met. The scholarship is worth $1,000.
Allenton Legion Post 483 is excited to be sponsoring these young ladies in an exciting sport to play and to watch. This is the only Legion Team in Washington County.
