October 27, 2023 – Slinger, WI – Students in the Slinger School District are planning a big sendoff at noon today as two boys and the entire girls’ cross-country team are leaving for the WIAA State cross country meet in Wisconsin Rapids.
Slinger High School boys attending state include Malachi Kurth and Reed Grotenhuis (highlighted in yellow) – they took 4th and 6th respectively at Sectionals.
Slinger girls are all racing because they qualified as a team taking 1st place.
The girls are SECTIONAL CHAMPS and Piper Schuster is the INDIVIDUAL SECTIONAL CHAMP.
Grab your red Hootie fan ware and come join the student body at noon today to send off the student athletes with a winning momentum. A gathering will take place just before noon at the high school parking lot.
