Hartford, Wi – Carlene Jordan Schulz, 21, of Hartford, Wisconsin, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 17, 2025.
Carlene was born on October 13, 2003, to Tim and Charity Schulz. A 2022 graduate of Hartford Union High School, Carlene brought joy and warmth to all who knew her.
She was employed at Friends of Nature in Sussex, where her compassion and love for animals truly shined. At home, she was a devoted cat mom to her beloved Nala and Diamond.
Carlene had a creative spirit and a playful heart. She found joy in diamond art and building LEGO flower designs. She loved going on Target runs with her nephew, participating in 4-H shooting sports and dairy projects, and practicing archery and .22 long rifle. As the youngest sibling, she embraced her role with humor and love-often teasing her brothers in the way only a little sister can.
Carlene is survived by her loving parents, Tim and Charity Schulz; her brothers, Bailey (Sarah), Dustin, and Austin; her cherished niece and nephew; and many extended family members and dear friends who will miss her deeply.
She will be remembered most for her kind heart, her deep love of animals, and her radiant smile that could light up any room.
Family and friends are invited to gather in Carlene’s memory on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Shimon Funeral Home (824 Union St., Hartford, WI).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
