All four individuals were charged with Concealing Stolen Property (greater than $10,000), Party to a Crime, a Class G felony. Each is currently being held on $1,000,000 cash bond.
During a search of the residence, investigators recovered a damaged and opened safe, approximately $570,000 in U.S. currency, and jewelry consistent with items stolen during the Beaver Dam burglary.
Investigators also discovered a document containing a list of more than 30 addresses located in various jurisdictions throughout Wisconsin.
Follow-up with those jurisdictions determined that at least three of the listed addresses had previously been burglarized, with some incidents dating back to 2023.
Further investigation indicates the group appears to have targeted business owners of Asian descent in Wisconsin and throughout the Midwest.
This investigation remains ongoing. The Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Office continues to work closely with the Beaver Dam Police Department and law enforcement partners at the local, state, and federal levels.
January 28, 2026 – Ozaukee Co., Wi – On Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at approximately 11:00 p.m., the Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Office was notified that a black Dodge Durango SUV with Nebraska registration was involved in a residential burglary that occurred earlier that evening in the City of Beaver Dam. A large amount of U.S. currency and jewelry was reported stolen during the burglary.

Investigative efforts indicated the suspect vehicle had traveled into Ozaukee County following the burglary. On Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at approximately 3:45 a.m., while canvassing the area, an Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Deputy located a vehicle matching the suspect vehicle description and registration parked in the driveway of a residence in the 500 block of Lake Shore Road in the Town of Grafton.
With assistance from surrounding law enforcement agencies, a perimeter was established around the residence. Law enforcement issued multiple commands over a loudspeaker directing the occupants to exit the residence.
During this time, two individuals fled from the rear of the residence but retreated back inside after being confronted by perimeter officers. As a result, the Ozaukee County Multi-Jurisdictional Special Response Team was requested, along with the deployment of a drone team.
After additional announcements were made by the Special Response Team, three occupants exited the residence and were taken into custody without incident. A fourth occupant later exited the residence and was also taken into custody without incident.
A subsequent search of the residence revealed evidence directly associated with the Beaver Dam burglary. It was further determined that the Lake Shore Road residence was being utilized as a short-term vacation rental that had been rented by the suspects.
The four suspects are currently being held at the Ozaukee County Jail pending formal criminal charges, which may include Possession of Stolen Property, Criminal Damage to Property, and Failure to Comply with Law Enforcement Orders. The Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Office is working closely with the Beaver Dam Police Department regarding the burglary investigation, as well as with other law enforcement agencies in reference to additional potential burglaries. Suspect names are not being released at this time, as formal charges have not yet been filed.
During the tactical incident, a portion of Lake Shore Road between Lakefield Road and Falls Road was temporarily closed, and nearby residents were instructed to shelter in place. The area was reopened at approximately 7:37 a.m.
Assisting agencies included the Mequon Police Department, Grafton Police Department, Cedarburg Police Department, Beaver Dam Police Department, Ozaukee Central Fire Department, Ozaukee County Drone Team, Ozaukee County Emergency Management, and the Ozaukee County Multi-Jurisdictional Special Response Team.
