Holy Angels December 2025 Student of the Month | By Michelle Spaeth

West Bend, WI – In an effort to recognize academic achievement, personal growth, and dedication to Christian values Holy Angels School in West Bend, WI highlights 3 students for the month of December 2025 – 6th Grade:Delaney Chesak, 7th Grade: Arya Sternig, and 8th Grade: Maddie Hagel.

 

6th Grade:  Delaney Chesak

Delaney is a cheerful student who brings a positive energy to the classroom. Delaney works hard in all of her classes. Her teachers describe her as kind and supportive. She has been known to leave nice notes on the lockers of other students to show support for their athletic endeavors. She is helpful and can be counted on to treat everyone with respect. Delaney enjoys playing outside, biking and spending time practicing and competing in Irish Dance.  She likes reading and wants to be a librarian when she grows up.

7th Grade:  Arya Sternig

Arya has always impressed her teachers with her work ethic and high standards. She cares about learning and wants her work to show she understands. Her teachers say that she is showing a lot of confidence in her academics this year. Arya is able to block out distractions and stay focused during class. She is a kind person who gets along with everyone. She helps out as a patrol for the K4 students. She enjoys reading, although her favorite class is math. Because of her interest in cooking as well as playing guitar and singing, she suggests she might grow up to be a musician or chef.

8th Grade:  Maddie Hagel

Maddie may be the most well-rounded student at Holy Angels. She is a strong athlete, particularly at volleyball.  She is also organized and does well in all of her academic classes. She works hard to stay on top of her studies, and her teachers appreciate that she does all her work without complaining. Maddie is very creative, coming up with Christmas themed horror stories in ELA while producing art work at art club and competing in forensics. She has been described as a good leader in her class. Maddie patrols for the K4 students and serves at Mass. She wants to be a dietician when she grows up.
