Town of Polk, Wi – A storm system with consistent rain and scattered lightning moved through the area just before a flag-raising ceremony was held this week for veterans in the Town of Polk, Wi.
Some of the military units in attendance included veterans’ groups from West Bend, Jackson, and Washington County.
Korean War veteran Merlin Stockhausen, 95, from the Town of West Bend, Wi, was on hand along with former Washington County Board chairman Ken Miller, 91.
