July 18, 2025 – Town of Hartford, WI – On July 17, 2025, at approximately 9:46 p.m., the Washington County Sheriff’s Office received multiple reports of a one vehicle accident in the area of County Trunk K and Kettle Moraine Road in the Town of Hartford.
Deputies from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office along with the Slinger Police Department responded to the scene and located a single female patient. Hartford Fire and Rescue and St Lawrence Fire Department also responded.
Life saving efforts were performed on scene and the female was transported to a local hospital where she was declared deceased. The victim was identified as a 21-year-old Hartford woman.
The roadway was closed for approximately five hours while the Washington County Crash Reconstruction Unit investigated the scene.
The crash remains under investigation by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
