West Bend, WI – In an effort to recognize academic achievement, personal growth, and dedication to Christian values Holy Angels School in West Bend, WI highlights 3 students for the month of January 2026 – 6th Grade: Carson Wietor, 7th Grade: Charlie Haddorff, and 8th Grade: Connor Liebetrau.

6th Grade:  Carson Wietor is an upbeat, fun kind of guy. He is kind and willing to help. His teachers describe him as an eager participant, raising his hand and getting involved in class activities. Carson will passionately defend his position, his card choices in Apples to Apples, and certainly his favorite sports teams (although some accuse him of being a bandwagon fan). Carson particularly enjoys gym class, especially basketball, and aspires to being a professional basketball player.

7th Grade:  Charlie Haddorff is a smart kid who enjoys learning. He is known to be multi-talented and well-rounded. He takes pride in his work. Charlie has a strong sense of self and will focus on what he thinks is important regardless of what others think. He is not afraid to volunteer and stand up for his convictions. He helps out by being a server at church. Outside of school, Charlie enjoys fishing and hunting as well as playing video games. He hasn’t decided what he will do when he grows up, but hopes to make a lot of money.

8th Grade:  Connor Liebetrau – Possibly one of the kindest and most well-liked of the eighth graders, Connor is a favorite of students and teachers alike. Connor stays focused in class and works hard. His algebra teacher says that his efforts lead to clearcut improvement and learning. Connor is one of the beloved K4 patrols which is one of the many ways he helps out at school. Connor enjoys science, playing sports like basketball and baseball, and playing video games.
