West Bend, Wi – In an effort to recognize academic achievement, personal growth, and dedication to Christian values Holy Angels School in West Bend, WI highlights 3 students for the month of November 2025 – 6th Grade: Finley Samuel, 7th Grade: Robbie Hanson, and 8th Grade: Gemma Shafaie.

6th Grade: Finley Samuel
Finley entered middle school with all the necessary skills for success. She is organized and responsible. She cares about learning and doing her assignments at a high level. Her teachers love that she takes pride in her work. She works enthusiastically in groups and is willing to challenge herself. Finley likes reading and writing, but she also enjoys sports like basketball and soccer. She hopes to grow up to be an architect or interior designer.

7th Grade: Robbie Hanson
Robbie is well known for his sense of humor. Indeed, his easygoing personality is enjoyed by peers and teachers alike. His teachers note that he has grown in maturity this year. He is actively working on leadership skills. He takes pride in being able to advocate for the right thing. Robbie is also working on putting more effort into his school work. His art teacher particularly notes that he has been showing effort and skill. Robbie enjoys eating McDonalds, baseball and biking, and hanging around with his dogs.
8th Grade: Gemma Shafaie
Gemma is liked and respected by her peers, her teachers and the younger students at school. She helps out with the K4 students at dismissal and is much loved by them. She works hard, follows directions and cares about learning. She has a wide ranging number of interests such as playing roblox, volleyball and watching The Sound of Music. Gemma wants to follow in her mother’s footsteps and go into medicine. Her goal is to become a CRNA, who helps with anesthesia for surgeries.
