Curler’s notice to parents is below.

Dear Slinger Families,

We want to inform you of a situation involving an employee of TASC, a contracted cleaning company that provides custodial services for the Slinger School District.

Earlier today, a Town of Trenton resident employed by TASC was taken into custody by law enforcement for alleged internet crimes against children. This individual worked the 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. custodial shift at Slinger High School and had been employed by TASC from April 14 until today. Prior to beginning work, this individual passed all required background checks and had no known criminal record.

At this time, we have received no information indicating that there are any local victims nor any evidence to suggest that local students were a target. However, we are cooperating fully with law enforcement as they continue their investigation.

We understand that this news may be unsettling. Please know that the safety and well-being of our students is always our top priority. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and provide updates if new information emerges that affects our school community.

Thank you for your continued support and partnership.

Sincerely,

Jim Curler
Superintendent
Slinger School District
