Kevin is preceded in death by his cherished father Norman E. Toll, grandparents Edwin & Dora (Zimmermann) Toll, George & Margorie (Fillmann) Tilt, and nephew Brandin Strowig.
The family wants to especially acknowledge and thank Paul and Josh for their enduring friendship, support and special caregiving provided to Kevin over the years.

Originally from Slinger, Wi, Kevin was the second son born to Norm and Jackie Toll. His middle name was chosen to honor his grandfather, George Tilt, who lived across the street.
The Toll house was always full of activity, and the place to be for food and fun along with the countless memories up north at the lake house in Eagle River swimming, fishing, deer camp and sharing time together.
Kevin attended Slinger High School, where he participated in both wrestling and baseball. Like many teenagers, he was drawn to music, especially the Grateful Dead.
He became a devoted Deadhead, carrying that love of music and freedom of spirit throughout his life. Growing up, Kevin was a typical protective older brother to Pam and Lynda. He earned the nickname “Junkfood Junkie” and was known for sneaking extra friends through the garage basement door for parties, and other typical young adult mischief.

At age 20 yrs. (1986) Kevin suffered a life-changing car accident with friends that left him paraplegic, due to spinal injuries. The next several years Kevin was forced to overcome many health and other challenges.
His determination in choosing to continue doing the things that brought him the most joy, were at the time, remarkable.
He remained a proud gun owner and avid hunter and bow hunter, pursuing deer and duck, and he loved fishing whenever he could. He appreciated Harley-Davidson motorcycles and even owned a trike.
Always ready for a good time, he was known to show off his wheelchair dance moves on the dance floor and one time with Mike went four-wheeling in the nearby field after indulging in “Black Widows,” and it didn’t end well!
He traveled to many places, including a memorable southern multi-state trip with his mom Jackie and Grandma Tilt, a trip to Canada with Mark to hunt moose, and amongst his favorites was a trip to Garden Valley, Idaho with Greg to experience the natural hot springs in the mountains, along with countless adventures together.
Professionally, Kevin worked as a Hand Tool Repair Technician at Fox Valley Metrology, owned by his brother, Mark.
Kevin moved often and lived in many places before settling in Lake Butte des Morts (Hill of The Dead) where he purchased a home and hunting land. There, he enjoyed vegetable gardening, canning, cooking unusual items, and fishing and boating on nearby Poygan Lake.
He naturally supported our military, honoring the service of both his father and brother-in-law, Greg.
Kevin will be remembered for many things to those he leaves behind, including his inner strength, strong will, feistiness, loyalty to friends, but mostly for his deep soul and love for animals.
A funeral service celebrating his life will be held on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, 799 Saint Paul Drive Slinger, WI 53086. Visitation begins at 2 p.m. with service starting at 3 p.m.
In lieu of flowers donations to St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Slinger where Kevin was confirmed are appreciated.
