July 13, 2025 – Fond du Lac Co., WI – At approximately 9:07 p.m. on Saturday, July 12, 2025, the Fond du Lac County Communications Center received a 911 call from a passerby reporting a barn on fire at W1502 Old Bridge Road in the Township of Auburn.

Shortly after the initial call, the Communications Center received a phone call from the property owner stating that the fire was a controlled burn of the barn.
Despite this, the Kewaskum Fire Department and Campbellsport Ambulance had already been dispatched in response to the initial report.
At approximately 9:21 p.m., a second 911 call was received from both the original passerby and the property owner, now reporting that the fire appeared to be out of control.
Multiple additional 911 calls were received shortly thereafter from various callers confirming the fire had escalated beyond the controlled burn.
Upon arrival, deputies made contact with the property owners. It was confirmed that the burn involved a barn approximately 40 feet by 60 feet in size.
The fire had intensified to the point that it began threatening nearby structures.
Due to the growing size and nature of the fire, the Campbellsport Fire Department and Eden Fire Department also responded to assist in fire suppression efforts.
