West Bend, WI – The National High School Coaches Association has selected Maddie Abel and Kylee Altendorf to the 2025 Academic All-American Team.
The award is given in recognition of excellence in both the classroom and athletics. This award honors outstanding academic achievement and dedication to sportsmanship.
Abel was selected to the NHSCA Honorable Mention team and as a three-year starting setter who made West Volleyball history with 2438 assists, while maintaining a 3.64 GPA.
Altendorf was selected to the NHSCA Second Team and as a four-year starting outside hitter and also made West Volleyball history in three different categories with 1163 kills, 1203 digs, and 1454 service receiving while maintaining a 4.0 GPA.
