January 6, 2026 – Fond du Lac Co., Wi – On Monday January 5, 2026 at approximately 6:50pm the Fond du Lac County Communication Center received a call of a one vehicle rollover crash on CTH M near Amity Rd in the Township of Waupun, Fond du Lac County, Wi.
Responding Deputies from the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office arrived on scene and located a male occupant inside of the vehicle that was over turned in the east ditch of CTH M. Brandon/Fairwater Fire Department extricated the male operator from the vehicle and began administering medical aid.
The vehicle was traveling north of CTH M. Just north of Amity Road, the vehicle went off the roadway into the east ditch where it struck an embankment and overturned coming to rest in the east ditch of CTH M.
The operator, a 61-year-old male from Oshkosh, was transported by Life Star Ambulance with serious injuries to SSM Health St. Agnes Hospital Fond du Lac.
Due to injuries suffered in the crash the operator was pronounced deceased at the hospital.
Alcohol is a factor in the crash. CTH M was closed between Amity Road and CTH TC for 1 hour. The crash is still under investigation by the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office.
