January 24, 2026 – Newburg, Wi – More than 20 area fire departments joined forces with Newburg Fire Department on Friday night, January 23, 2026, following a call for a structure fire on Congress Drive in the Town of Trenton. Below is a note acknowledging the team work for all who helped.
January 23, 2026 – Town of Trenton, Wi – Sub-zero temperatures are making for a difficult situation as 13 area fire departments are on scene at a structure fire in the 6400 block of Congress Drive in the Town of Trenton.
The fire call came in just before 10 p.m.
Tenders are being used to haul water to the scene.
Fire departments on scene include Newburg, West Bend, Saukville, Cedarburg, Fillmore, Fredonia, Waukeba, Boltonville, Germantown, Allenton, Kewaskum, Richfield, St. Lawrence and Jackson.
This is the second large fire today as Germantown had a barn fire on Hilltop Drive just after noon.
