December 9, 2025 –West Bend, Wi – Â Harold Willard Simonis, 63, passed away unexpectedly on December 5, 2025. He was born on July 12, 1962, in West Allis, Wisconsin, to the late Willard Aaron Simonis and Grace Elaine (Wiskowski) Simonis.

A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Harold married the love of his life, Carolyn Marie (Szydel) Simonis, on June 26, 1982. Together they built a strong, faith-filled family rooted in love, dedication, and togetherness.
With unwavering dedication, Harold built a lifelong career in the trucking industry, known for reliability, integrity, and hard work. Outside of work, he found joy in the simple, meaningful parts of life—golfing, hunting, fishing, playing cards, and spending time with his family was his greatest joy in life.
He loved taking family vacations and being there for many family outings. He rarely missed his grandchildren’s school events or sporting activities, always showing up with pride and unwavering support. He was also a passionate Wisconsin sports teams’ fan, cheering faithfully every season.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Carolyn; his four dear children, Melissa (Nick) Inderdahl, Nicole Simonis, Elizabeth (Dustin) Choy, and Aaron (Heather) Simonis; his grandchildren, Makenzie and Preston Inderdahl, Zachary and Brantley Simonis, Jack, Lola, and Stella Choy, Paisley Montgomery and a precious baby boy expected in June 2026; his sisters Chris (Jerry) Hart, Marie (Scott) Brattebo, and Marrianne Coates; his Father and Mother-In-Law Michael and Laverne Szydel. Harold is further survived by other relatives and many close friends.
He is preceded in death by his parent Willard and Grace Simonis.
Above all, Harold will be remembered as a devoted husband, a loving family man, and a man of deep faith. His warmth, steadiness, and generous heart touched all who had the blessing of knowing him. His spirit lives on in his beloved wife, his children, his grandchildren, and all who held him dear.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, December 12, 2025 at 2:30 p.m. at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church with Auxiliary Bishop Jeff Haines presiding. The family will greet visitors on Friday from 11:30 a.m. until 2:15 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorials for the benefit of Harold’s family are appreciated.
