Hartford, WI – Robert “Bob” Russell Engeldahl, 80, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2025.
Robert was born July 29, 1944 , in Glenview Illinois, to Russell and Mary (nee Conrad) Engeldahl.
After Graduating with his Bachelors in Science, Bob was able to open up his own pharmacy, Engeldahl Drugs, in Hartford Wisconsin. From 1975 to 2015, Bob had dedicated his career to patients in his community.
Bob and Gail (nee Steffens) were Married June 25th, 1966. They have known each other for 65 years. At the young age of 16, these two kids met at a sock hop.
Together they traveled the world and lovingly raised their daughter Julia. Bob loved the sport of baseball and was a big Brewers fan. Bob was able to scuba dive in places you only dream of. In his spare time, duringthe evening sun, you would find Bob digging in the dirt of his flower beds.
Bob is survived by his Loving wife Gail; daughter Julie (Tom) Lulich; granddaughter Cassie (Jonathan Kahut) Engeldahl; siblings Allan (Bobbie) Engeldahl, Sharon (Marty) Cusino; sister-in-law Jayne Steffens; and many other nieces and nephews, family and friends, and his special pup, Simon.
He is preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be held on May 28, 2025, at Shimon Funeral Home (824 Union St. Hartford WI, 53027). Visitation is from 1 p.m. until service at 4 p.m.
