2 vehicle serious-injury crash in Dodge County | By Sheriff Dale Schmidt

December 15, 2025 – Dodge Co., Wi – The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a two-vehicle, serious-injury crash that occurred on State Highway 1660/Pratt Rd in the Town of Lowell.

At approximately 6:33 a.m., Monday, December 15, 2025, members of the Dodge County sheriff’s office responded to State Hwy 16/60 / Pratt Rd for a two-vehicle serious injury crash.  


An initial investigation determined that a 2022 Subaru Outback was traveling east on State Highway 16/60, crossed the center line, and struck a westbound 2019 Ford F-550.  The truck was towing a tandem axle trailer loaded with a mini excavator.  

The driver of the Subaru was identified as a 20-year-old Watertown man.  He was transported to Froedtert Hospital via helicopter with serious injuries.

The driver of the Ford pickup truck was identified as a 26-year-old man from Fond du Lac.  He was transported to Marshfield Medical Center- Beaver Dam (MMC-BD) for minor injuries.

Also responding to the scene were the Dodge County Crash Investigation Team, Beaver Dam Paramedics, Watertown Paramedics, CLR Fire and First Responders, Wisconsin State Patrol, Dodge County Emergency Response Team, EST Towing, Mikes Towing, and the Dodge County Highway Department.  

Currently, this crash remains under investigation by the Dodge County Crash Investigation Team.
