February 16, 2026 – Dodge Co., Wi – On February 15, 2026, at 6:55 a.m., Dodge County Deputies were dispatched to a single vehicle crash with injury on County Highway P near Harding Road in the town of Ashippun.
Initial investigation showed a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado was southbound on County Highway P when it gradually entered the paved shoulder.
The truck’s passenger side then struck the guardrail, and the vehicle drove against the guardrail for a short distance.
The truck began a counterclockwise turn across both lanes of traffic, impacted the east ditch, and vaulted over a driveway. The truck landed on a steep slope and impacted a tree.
The driver, a 41-year-old male from rural Oconomowoc, suffered possible life-threatening injuries and was transported to the Aurora Summit Hospital by Western Lakes Paramedics. There were no other occupants in the vehicle.
Assisting at the scene were the Ashippun Fire Department, Western Lakes Fire Department, and Western Lakes Paramedics. The name of the driver is being withheld pending family notification.
