West Bend, Wi – The Museum of Wisconsin Art invites you to a vibrant two-day live arts festival Saturday, August 16 and Sunday, August 17. Art & Chalk Fest kicks off Saturday at  10 a.m. – 4 p.m. and includes free admission.Â
Art & Chalk Fest is fun for all ages and free admission for all.
CHALK + CREATE

Watch chalk artists in action as they turn pavement into jaw-dropping works of art. Join in the fun and create your own masterpiece with Chalk the Street, a community mural sponsored by Horicon Bank. Plus, enjoy hands-on artmaking in the Activity Zone and museum atrium.
EXPLORE + IMAGINE

From colorful chalk to indoor creativity, there’s plenty to keep little hands––and big imaginations––busy. Participate in art demos from face painting to marbling body art to spin record painting. Then, make your way inside and explore MOWA’s latest exhibitions—all free during the festival.
WATCH + LISTEN

Wander through the museum grounds to catch live demos–from glassblowing and pottery to spontaneous typewriter poetry. Shop artist vendors and enjoy live music (including Wisconsin’s very own DJ Shawna!) as you stroll among the blooming hydrangeas in the MOWA Gardens.
SNACK + SIP
Grab a bite or a pint (or both!) and relax in the shade of our beer garden. Food Truck Alley serves up a delicious variety of cuisines alongside craft beer, wine, and refreshing non-alcoholic options.
