May 1, 2020 – Washington Co., WI – The Full Shelf Food Pantry in West Bend recently received a 700 pound donation of cheese from Cedar Valley Cheese. The effort was organized by Peter Hesprich who is working with family farms and Friends of Cedar Valley Cheese. “We’re taking donations and buying cheese from Cedar Valley Dairy and donating it to the local food pantry,” Hesprich said.
Hesprich said he’s getting a good deal on cheese through Cedar Valley.
If people want to donate, Hesprich has set up an account at State Bank of Newburg. “The bank is aware we’re asking for donations so people can either make the donation to the account in my name, Peter Hesprich, or Friends of Cedar Valley Cheese,” he said.
