Sarah Malchow, Vice President of Development at Cedar Community, created the idea to light up the park for the holiday as a way to lift the spirits of residents. The red-and-white lights and Christmas decorations are located off the sunroom.

About a dozen volunteers spent several hours stringing lights around trees and putting red bows on split-rail fencing.

A family of snowmen were placed front and center as a pair of deer with brilliant antlers stood nestled in the trees.

The magical light display was lit in full glory as residents await the coming of Christmas.
