November 7, 2025 – Village of Germantown, Wi – SCAM ALERT: It appears the Village of Germantown email system has been hacked this morning.
The Village received reports that some individuals are receiving emails from what appear to be by Village email accounts with an invoice requesting immediate payment.
These emails are not coming from the Village of Germantown.
The Village and police are working with the IT contractor to resolve this problem.
Please do not open any attachments from suspicious emails or make any payments without checking first.
