October 17, 2025 – Dodge Co., Wi – On Friday, October 17, 2025, at 11:26 a.m., Dodge County Deputies were dispatched to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of County Highway I and County Highway E in the town of Burnett, Dodge County, Wisconsin.

Initial investigation shows that a 2020 Chevy Blazer, driven by a 64-year-old female from Janesville, was northbound on County Highway I and approaching County Highway E. The Blazer entered the intersection and was struck by a westbound 2005 Sterling Dump truck that was driven by a 66-year-old male from Randolph.
County Highway E has the right-of-way, with County Highway I being posted with stop signs. Preliminary investigation has yet to determine whether the Blazer stopped at the stop sign or not.
The female driver of the Blazer suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Dodge County Medical Examiner. The dump truck driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported by ambulance to the Marshfield Medical Center in Beaver Dam.
Assisting at the scene were the Burnett Fire Department and First Responders, Beaver Dam Paramedics, Horicon EMS, Horicon Fire Department, Juneau Fire Department, Dodge County Medical Examiner’s Office, and DCERT.
Names of those involved are being withheld pending family notification.The crash remains under investigation by the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office Crash Investigation Team.
