Germantown man OK following shooting at Miller Brewing in Milwaukee

February 26, 2020 – Germantown, WI – A Germantown man texted his wife saying he was in an office that was lockeddown following a shooting Wednesday afternoon at Miller Brewing in Milwaukee.

The man told his wife he was hiding under a desk.

UPDATE: Milwaukee Police confirm six people dead including the shooter.

According to details released from Milwaukee Police the incident happened at 2:19 p.m.

This incident was at the Brewery location and not at the corporate office.

There was confirmation shots had been fired by an active shooter who was identified as an employee.

Early word is the employee had been with Molson Coors since 2006/2007.

The Germantown man said he worked closely with  the man thought to be the shooter. He said they exchanged greetings daily but never thought he would do anything like this.

The public are being advised to avoid the area in the 4000 block of W. State Street.
